Bio
Lux Valladolid (Argentina) is a performance and visual artist who investigates how contemporary life choreographs our bodies within public and institutional settings. Centered on performance, video and photography, her practice oscillates between constructed personas to explore agency and programmed behaviors.
Her research has been presented in museums and academic environments, including Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA) and Kunstmuseum Basel. Her ongoing project Are You an NPC? began during her residency at Atelier Mondial in Switzerland, supported by Pro Helvetia, Swiss Arts Council South America, and culminated in a large-scale performance at Kunstforum Baloise Park during the Art Basel city program in 2025. She collaborates with curators, photographers, filmmakers and designers to activate both documented and live formats across museums, public space and educational contexts.
Alongside her artistic work, Valladolid collaborates as a creative director with institutions, brands and content creators, integrating her conceptual approach to shape narratives and experiences across digital and physical environments.
