The work emerges from the tension between the lived experience of the action, the artist’s assumptions about her own image, and the perspectives ultimately produced by the CCTV system. Without access to the footage during the action, the artist had to imagine what each camera was framing to create the work. The recordings were reviewed weeks later, confronting the lived experience of the performance with the images produced.
