When Instagram doesn't recognize an account as being associated with a real person, it may impose a sanction known as a shadowban. This measure blocks content that violates the platform's policies, such as engaging in bot-like behavior. Lux account was banned for a year. The project culminated when Skin decided to end its life by throwing itself into the sea in the metaverse exhibition 100% legit.
